Happy Memorial Day!!!! This was a busy week! BBQ after BBQ, thanks to PJ and his friends. Well we celebrated DP's graduation on receiving her BSN. I am so proud of her!!!! (Notice the nurse's cap cake topper.) On Friday,PJ and I went to see "Xanadu" with Michael, Erin, Rob, and Lisa. We had great time!!! Cheyenne was hot! Oucha Magoucha! Then we had an after theatre snack at Pigalle on 8th Ave. It was a long dry spell for theatre for me. 3 MONTHS AND NO BROADWAY MUSICAL!!!!!!!!!! Never happen again....I don't know the longest I went without seeing a Broadway show? This might be a record....anyway, I am looking forward to the summer and the trips PJ and I have planned together, days at the beach, nights at the theatre, and cake creations.

Ok folks, saw a bad show last night. "Cry Baby: the Musical." It was the staged version of the John Waters film, the same writer as "Hairspray." I was hoping to at least be entertained by the show, but almost left at intermission, but I never leave anything, movie or Broadway show. Maybe I am a bit too hopefull that it will get better. I feel there is always at least one thing to keep your attention. Well I hate to say it but there was really nothing good about the show. Music, costumes, sets, and very disappointing, the dancing were not worth the price of admission. Thank goodness we only paid $35 a tix , rather than the $110 they are asking for at the box office. This show won't last very long past the Tony Awards.

Well all....I'm back from our vacation in Curacao. It was everything I wanted. Amazing hot and sunny weather, good food, nice spa, and very good drinks! I am back 2 days and already I created another cake "masterpiece." I have 2 more coming within the next few weeks. Now it's time to plan the next vacation!!!!!
